AND DON'T FORGET TO BE AWESOME AND CRAZY!

Make sure you have all these things in your book by Monday or you're gonna be sad.

CHECKLIST (this is the order is goes in for your final book)

First, the front cover (front of your house, be creative and make it cool)

Second, a clever and creative title that engages the reader

Third, a dedication (make in meaningful)

Then, the table of contents (literally the easiest thing in the world)

After that, an introduction of you and the book, at least 300 words (add a picture of something too)

Of course, the 5 vignettes, each with at least 200 words (remember to have a common theme running through all of them)
Add some sort of picture or drawing or other form of art to each of the vignettes to make them nice and pretty for the reader (and if right now you're saying UUUHHHGGGGGG, just remember how much you enjoyed the pictures in Part-Time Indian)

Leave 2-3 blank pages at the end of your book for autographs and best wishes from everyone

Finally, the back cover (back of your house, still be creative)

Don't forget to somehow bind the whole thing together (hole puncher and twine or pipe cleaners or yarn)

Lastly, cruise and take a step back to admire your work because YOU DID IT!

And don't forget, stay swaggy!

Front Cover:
Front of your house
Maybe just the doorway
Black and white?
Super colorful?
Intese and serious?
Crazy and abstract?
Pencil?
Pen?
Paint?
Something else?
Really, it can be anything you want, but make sure the covers match the essence and theme of your story

Title:
Make it clear enough for the reader, but you can choose a cool font or draw it yourself
The font should match the style of the covers, if the covers are playful and colorful make the font that way too, if the covers are serious and formal make the font that way too
If you want to look really legit, make the title itself pretty small but your name HUGE
That's how the pros do it because the book is pretty important, but not as important as YOU

Back Cover:
Back of your house
Maybe just the back door
Whatever style and look you did for the front cover, use the same for the back
If you change the style of the front and back covers to much from each other, it doesn't coincide well and your book won't look as professional

GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!
